Current Electrical was founded in 2018 by Rob Curren after 10 years working for some of Manchester's biggest electrical contractors. The goal was simple - give homeowners and landlords the same standard of work the commercial clients get, without the agency markup. Every job comes with full certification, an NICEIC-backed guarantee, and a proper tidy-up before we leave. We cover everything from a single socket to a full rewire, and we don't cut corners on any of it.

2008 - Started Apprenticeship
Rob began his career as an apprentice electrician at one of Manchester's largest commercial contractors.
2014 - Qualified & Certified
Achieved 18th Edition certification and NICEIC approval. Worked on commercial and domestic projects across the North West.
2018 - Current Electrical Founded
Set up Current Electrical to bring commercial-grade standards to domestic and small business customers.
2021 - EV Charger Specialist
Became an OZEV-approved EV charge point installer as demand for home charging surged.
